The right accessories for practicing yoga: brick, mat, cushion and strap.

Bricks: essential support

A true ally in your practice, the yoga brick acts as a support, to secure the postures and thus avoid any injury.

Placed as an extension of a posture, it allows you to gain balance or improve your flexibility. The brick allows for greater comfort in asanas and therefore to maintain postures more easily.

Its 3 dimensions (height, width and thickness) allow you to work on different heights, to adapt to everyone's progress.

Our yoga blocks are cut from high-quality cork from Portugal. They are manufactured in a certified eco-responsible company. Both dense and lightweight, cork has the advantage of being non-slip and has an unlimited lifespan. It is easy to maintain with Marseille soap and warm water.

Which brick for which use?

The XL brick offers greater stability and can also be used as a seating support during meditation.

The oval yoga block is specially designed for those who have difficulty placing their knees on the floor in the lotus pose. It can also be used under the hands in forward bending postures (such as the Standing Forward Bend), to safely go deeper into the pose.

The Slanting Plank yoga block can be used as a wedge at the bottom of a wall to elevate the heels and prevent tension, it can also be used under the hands in Chakerasana or under the shoulders in Candle Pose to reduce tension in the wrists.

The Quarter Moon brick is primarily used in Iyengar yoga to prevent hyperextension. It can be used in standing postures to protect the knees, or against a

THE STRAP: GUARANTEE OF ALIGNMENT

There are many yoga practices that may require a strap, including Iyengar and Ashtanga.

The yoga strap helps maintain good alignment in asanas, in order to work them deeply, safely, without the risk of injury.

It allows you to perform postures comfortably, gradually gaining flexibility over the sessions. Finally, it also promotes gentle muscle stretching.

We offer you a yoga strap made of organic cotton (GOTS certified), 2.50m long, with a metal buckle (nickel-free) to adjust the length according to your needs.

THE YOGA MAT: YOUR INTIMATE SPACE

Your yoga mat is your intimate practice space, the one where you find yourself, so you might as well make it a space of comfort and pleasure. Thickness, grip, material, weight, size, design... there are many criteria to consider to find the one best suited to your practice.

Thickness/comfort: Your yoga mat should provide stability and comfort in your postures. If you have sensitive knees, we recommend choosing a softer mat, 4 or 5mm thick. However, if you want to prioritize a feeling of grounding, especially in standing postures, we recommend choosing a thinner mat (3mm).

Material: The material of your yoga mat affects its texture, grip, pressure resistance, and durability. At Yoga Searcher, we offer 3 mat thicknesses and 6 different colors. They are made of TPE (thermoplastic elastomer), a 100% recyclable material that contains no latex, PVC, heavy metals, or toxic substances. Both sides are non-slip, even when subjected to intense perspiration. Its cellular structure is waterproof, which helps keep the mat clean and healthy.

MEDITATION CUSHIONS AND MATTRESSES

Choosing the right meditation cushion is very important because it determines how to maintain good posture, which in turn helps calm your mind. The height of your meditation cushion should be adapted to the flexibility of your pelvis. The ideal posture is a straight back, a slight forward tilt of the pelvis, and knees resting on the floor.

If you have a flexible pelvis, you can choose a cushion with a height of less than 10 cm. However, if you are not flexible in the pelvis, you will be more comfortable on a higher cushion (>15 cm).

We offer various shapes and heights of meditation cushions. The fabric used is a blend of cotton and linen, and it is made from kapok, a waterproof and rot-resistant plant fiber, firmer and denser than cotton, which provides a stable base and allows the cushion to retain its shape over time.

The classic: the zafu, a traditional round cushion, it offers stable seating, particularly when sitting cross-legged or in the lotus position.

Modular: Twin or Roll cushions allow for several heights and several uses (meditation seat, knee, elbow or head rest).

The XL: the mattress is ideal for relaxation
